Film Synopsis:
Marta is a romantic and a loser at school. He shares a room with his sister Kasia and Grandma, who tells her grandsons rebellious stories instead of fairy tales. In the room behind the wall, the parents - Tadek and El?bieta - live their married life. He is an intelligent man constantly humiliated by the state, he also makes his own nawak after work and secretly envies his prosperous teaching brother-in-law. He is the leader of the "solidarity" union at work, with the need for freedom and the dream of leaving Poland. The real adventure for the family begins when they manage to get their dream Orange Fiat 126p.
