Film Synopsis:
Sawa, a house helper for a middle-class family with an elderly grandfather, is forced to stretch her morals to keep her job. As a result, he found himself broke and out on the street. He survives his first night by developing an ambiguous friendship with a kindly old man, gaining access to some of the vast wealth held by Japans aging population. She continues with the same encounters, and while these begin as deception or revenge on rampant sexism, they ultimately become vulnerable intergenerational exchanges.
