Film Synopsis:
Star-crossed lovers Therese (Simone Signoret) and Laurent (RAF Vallone) think theyve gotten away with murder after Thereses frail husband "Falls" off the train who was going fast. But when forced to contend with the blackmailers demands and mute accusations from mother-in-law Therese (French stage and screen diva Sylvie, in a scene-stealing performance), its only a matter of time before the law, passion or blind chance stumbles upon them.
