Film Synopsis:
Semi-retired Michigan attorney Paul Biegler takes on the case of an Army Lieutenant, who murdered a local innkeeper after his wife claimed he raped her. During the sprawling trial, Biegler parries with Lodwick District Attorney and out-of-town prosecutor Claude Dancer to exonerate his client, but the case rests on the victims mysterious business partner, who is hiding a dark secret.
