Film Synopsis:
May 22, 1963. Displeased with the existing social and political situation in Turkey, a group of military officers has planned a coup to overthrow the government in Ankara. Meanwhile in Istanbul, their conspirators have undertaken a vital mission to take over the national radio station and make an official announcement about the coup. But nothing went according to plan. Faced with a number of obstacles, including a sudden rainstorm, the absence of radio station technicians, betrayal, a lack of feedback from Ankara and their own inefficiency, the conspirators scrambled to keep their plans on track and declare the success of the Coup - that is, if the coup in the capital has occurred at all.
