Film Synopsis:
A terrifying British general is in charge of a remote fictional village in pre-independence Madras. It spans three days, from 14 August to 16 August 1947 and follows the lives of illiterate and downtrodden villagers as they fail to receive the news of Indias independence due to isolation.
