Movie: Battle Circus (1953)

Film Synopsis:
A young army nurse, Lieutenant Ruth McGara, newly assigned to the 66th during the Korean War, attracts the sexual attentions of unit commander Dr. (Maj) Jed Webbe. Webbe, who had a drinking problem, initially wanted a "no strings attached" relationship. McGara is warned by another nurse of Webbes womanizing ways. Despite these initial handicaps, their love develops against a backdrop of war, enemy attacks, death and injury. The relationship deepens and elevates both characters.
