Film Synopsis:
Beautiful young housewife Serizi Severine cannot reconcile her masochistic fantasies with her everyday life together with her devoted husband Pierre. When her lovelorn friend Henri mentions the high-class brothel run by Madame Anais, Severine begins working there during the day under the name Belle de Jour.
