Film Synopsis:
The way of the eagle is to raise two chicks. The stronger are destined to always throw the weaker from the nest. Humans also have their ways, often of hurting those closest to them. Lukas suffers at the hands of a father who has withdrawn since losing his wife. Killed while saving baby Luke, the boy now carries the weight of his death. Our eagles story begins in the nest. The eldest chick pushed its weaker sibling to certain death on the forest floor. But fate intervenes and the girl is found by Lukas. Naming him Abel, Lukas cares for the creature in secret, finding the love and companionship that was denied to him at home.
