Film Synopsis:
Opening with a seductive style from the sixties, »a funny man« reveals the eternal loneliness that the passing comedian Dirch (Nikolaj Lie Kaas) finds himself in in the wake of his rapid rise to fame. He struggles between his own desire to gain critical respect and serving the needs of the audience. Exercising the same friendship to his on-stage partner Kjeld Petersen (Lars Ranthe) Dirch took on the Steinbeck classic »from Mice and Men«, only for the audience to burst out laughing at the first line.
