Film Synopsis:
In 1931, after the success of the film battleship Potemkin, Soviet filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein traveled to the Mexican city of Guanajuato to shoot a new film. Newly rejected by Hollywood, Eisenstein soon fell under Mexicos spell. Prompted by guide Palomino Canedo, the director unlocks his repressed fears as he embraces a new world of sensual pleasure and possibility that will shape his artistic future.
