Movie: Erna at War (2020)
Film Synopsis:
1918. World War I rages in Europe while Erna Jensen tends to her ordinary life at home in Bramstrup, with her simple-minded son, Kalle. One day the Village Constable came to ask Kalle for military service for the German Empire - of which southern Jutland was a part. If Erna wants to save Kalle from certain death, she will have to follow him through thick and thin. After meeting the solder who abandoned him, he traded identities. Now disguised as private Julius Rasmussen, Erna heads to the front. In her encounters with other soldiers and in the face of war, an unknown side of Erna awakens.
