Film Synopsis:
One day, for no apparent reason, a policeman killed 11 children. That same day, horror novelist Thomas Roy attempted suicide after cutting off his fingers. At first glance, nothing seems to connect the two events - until Dr. Paul Lacasse, a disillusioned psychiatrist, takes over the case. Encouraged by his colleague Jeanne, fan Thomas Roy, Dr. Lacasse delves into the authors past. Hunted by gossip columnist, Dr. Lacasse uncovers a series of disturbing facts that increase his confidence about the case. As he tries to put the pieces of the puzzle back together to better treat the famous author, Dr. Lacasse is drawn further and further into a series of events, with terrifying consequences.
