Ben Holmes, a professional book-jacket blurgologist, is trying to get to Savannah for his wedding. He had just caught the last plane, but a seagull flew into the engine as the plane took off. All flights are then canceled due to an approaching storm, so he is forced to hitch a ride on the geo metro with an attractive but eccentric woman named Sara.
