Film Synopsis:
Butley is at Queen Marys College, London and focuses on two English instructors, Ben Butley, a middle-aged former T. S. Eliot scholar whose life is now in shambles, and his protégé, Joey, is a homosexual. With Joey and his wife gone, Butley faces life alone, fighting back with wit, obscenity and drinking.
