Film Synopsis:
Loving tribute to Bruce Vilanch, who wrote material for celebrities making public appearances, from Oscar host and honoree to the president. We meet his mother and see her childhood photos; In Chicago, he wrote for the Tribune and then headed west. Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Robin Williams, and Bette Midler talk with him and to the camera about working with Bruce, and we also watch Bruce help others prepare for Liz Taylors 60th, Bill Clintons 50th, and an AIDS awards banquet where the hirsute, Rotund Vilanch let his emotions show.
