Film Synopsis:
Cyborg Detective Batou is assigned to investigate a series of murders committed by doll-like gynoids-cyborgs, all of whom malfunction, are killed, then dispose of themselves afterwards. The gynoids brains initialize to protect their manufacturing software, but in one gynoid, neutralized by Batou himself, one file remains: a voice that speaks the phrase "help me."
