Movie: Have a Little Faith (2011)
Film Synopsis:
At 82 years old, former Rabbi Albert Lewis Mitch Albom wants the famous Detroit sportswriter to give his eulogy when the time comes. Albom paid a visit to his former hometown in New Jersey, where Rabbi Lewis has served the congregation for some 50 years. Albom did not feel worthy, especially since he was no longer a practicing Jew and, in fact, he had married a Christian (who apparently was also inactive). Nevertheless, Rabbi Lewis said he was the one doing the work, and over the next eight years, Albom made several home visits and even attended several Shabbat services, where the good Rabbi was determined to continue working and inspiring his flock even as his health declined.
