Film Synopsis:
Schoolteacher Bertram Cates was arrested for teaching Darwins theory of evolution to his students. The case received national attention and one newspaper reporter, E.K. Hornbeck, arranged to bring in renowned lawyer and atheist Henry Drummond to defend Cates.
