Movie: Knight Moves (1992)

Film Synopsis:
A chess grandmaster is at a major tournament, and when his girlfriend is found painted and blood drained from her body, he becomes the prime suspect. After he gets a call from the killer urging him to try and figure out the game, he teams up with the police and a psychologist to try and catch the killer, but doubts linger about the Grandmasters innocence as a series of grisly murders continues.
