Film Synopsis:
The death of King Henry VIII throws his kingdom into chaos due to succession disputes. His frail son, Edward, was on his deathbed. Wanting to keep England loyal to the Reformation, the cunning minister John Dudley married his son Guildford to Lady Jane Grey, whom he placed on the throne after Edward died. At first hostile to each other, Guildford and Jane fall in love, but they are unable to survive the course of power that will lead to their ultimate downfall.
