Film Synopsis:
David Carr is an unemployed British communist. In 1936, when the Spanish Civil War began, he decided to fight for the Republican side, a coalition of liberals, communists and anarchists, so he joined the Poum militia and witnessed firsthand the betrayal of the Spanish Revolution by Stalins followers and the Moscow order.
