Movie: Maquia When the Promised Flower Blooms (2018)
Film Synopsis:
Maquia is a member of a special race called Iorph who can live for hundreds of years. However, Maquia always felt lonely even though she was surrounded by people, because she was orphaned from a young age. He daydreamed about the outside world, but didnt dare travel from his home due to the clan heads warning. One day the kingdom of Mezarte invaded his homeland. They already have whats left of the giant dragon, Renato, under their control, and now their king wants to add immortality to his bloodline. They ravaged Iorphs homeland and killed most of its inhabitants. Caught in the middle of the attack, Maquia is taken by one Renato. It soon died, and he was left desolate in the woods, now completely alone except for the cries of one baby in the distance. Maquia finds the baby in a ruined village and decides to raise her as her own, naming her Ariel. Even though he knew nothing about the human world, how to raise a child who was aging faster than him.
