Film Synopsis:
Henri is a middle-aged writer with fading inspiration who has published nothing worth noting for years. Feeling increasingly misunderstood by his wife and four grown children, he dreams of running away to start again. But when he finds an unattractive and ill-mannered dog in his garden, he decides to adopt it and the two begin to develop an unlikely friendship that inevitably upsets Henris family and neighbors.
