Movie: One Sings the Other Doesnt (1977)

Film Synopsis:
In this story of friendship and reproductive rights, 14 years in the relationship between two very different women is chronicled. Pauline is a middle-class city girl, as opposed to a very conventional family. Suzanne was a few years older, a country girl with two illegitimate children and another (whom she couldnt support) on the way. Pauline lends Suzanne money for an abortion. At this point, the two were separated and communicating primarily through postcards.
