Film Synopsis:
An epic depiction of the events surrounding the infamous 1819 Peterloo massacre, in which a peaceful pro-democracy rally in St Peters Square in Manchester turns into one of the bloodiest and most famous episodes in British history. The massacre saw British government forces charge a crowd of more than 60,000 who had gathered to demand political reform and protest against rising levels of poverty.
