Film Synopsis:
J of the title stands for The Young Protagonist, Rune, fearlessly played by Pilou Ashbak. Imprisoned for a violent assault, hes a cocky, handsome young man placed in a hardcore ward, where his survival depends on quickly learning the parallel world, honor, and obligations of prison. R also stands for Rachid, a young Muslim prisoner who becomes Runes friend and accomplice, challenging the rigid racial stratification among the inmates.
