Film Synopsis:
Susan Miller works behind the girdle counter at a department store and dreams of beautiful clothes and luxury she could never hope for. Enter May Worthington and Warren, a pair of artists who pose as the mother and uncle of a beautiful girl to separate millionaires from their money. They convince Susan that she has a chance to fulfill all her dreams, and all three are for Palm Beach. Susan meets John Wheeler who says he is shopping for a sailboat. Believing he was a millionaire, Warren and was able to sell a boat that did not belong to them, and succeeded with his life savings of $15,000. Seeking greener pastures, they work in the family of wealthy Tod Fenwick, who falls in love with Sue, posing as "Linda Worthington".
