In Rohmers second moral tale, he examines the relationship between two friends and a girl who at first seems easy to exploit. It is a tale of complicated feelings and misunderstandings, acted out inside the main characters head, as part of Rohmers attempt to more easily simulate the literary qualities of the mindscape in a film.
