Film Synopsis:
Douglas is a foreign businessman, who travels to Russia in 1885 with the dream of selling an experimental steam-driven wood harvester in the Siberian wilderness. Jane is his assistant. On her journey, she meets two men who will change her life forever: the handsome young cadet Andrej Tolstoy with whom she shares a passion for opera, and the powerful General Radlov who is struck by her beauty and wants to marry her.
