Film Synopsis:
Two million fish wash ashore. A thousand black birds fell from the sky. On July 4, 2009, a deadly threat struck the coastal town of Claridge, Maryland, but the horrific story of what happened that Independence Day has never been told – until now. Authorities believe they have buried the truth about the tragedy that claimed more than 700 human lives. Now, three years later, a reporter has emerged with footage that reveals an unimaginable cover-up and killer: a mysterious parasitic outbreak. Told from the perspective of those who were there and saw what happened, the bay unfolds over 24 hours via peoples iPhones, androids, 911 calls, webcams, and anything else that can be used to document Claridges nightmare.
