Film Synopsis:
Barents Sea, August 12, 2000. During Russian naval exercises, and after suffering a serious accident, the submarine K-141 Kursk sinks with 118 crew members on board boat. While the few surviving sailors barely managed to survive, their families pushed for accurate information and a British officer struggled to obtain from the Russian government permission to attempt a rescue before it was too late.
