Movie: The Cynic the Rat and the Fist (1977)

Film Synopsis:
Luigi "Chinaman" Maietto escapes from prison. As soon as he was free, he immediately assigned two henchmen to kill the inspector whose testimony had once led to a prison sentence. Inspector Tanzi is left for dead but survives. The local newspapers covered it up and pretended the assassination was a success. When Tanzi got better, his superiors wanted him to hide in Switzerland. But Tanzi was against it because he intended to ensure himself that Maietto was imprisoned. He went for it.
