Film Synopsis:
The heads of Wall Streets largest investment banks are summoned to an evening meeting by the Secretary of the US Treasury, Hank Paulson, to discuss the fate of another - Lehman Brothers. After six months of chaos in world financial markets, Lehman Brothers was on life support and the government was about to pull the plug. Lehman CEO Dick Fuld, recently absent in a boardroom coup, spent the weekend desperately trying to resuscitate his beloved company through a merger with Bank of America or UK-based Barclays. But without the financial backing of his fiercest rivals Paulson and Lehman, Fulds empire - and with it, the worlds economic stability - teetered on the brink of extinction.
