Film Synopsis:
During the fall of 1944, an RAF Hudson carrying VIP passengers possessing highly classified information is shot down and ditches in the North Sea. Battling the elements and trying to maintain morale, the occupants of the fragility of the plane talk about their lives waiting for the rescue they hope will come. The films title reflects the motto of the RAF Air Sea Rescue Service, one of launching at top speed against its own mechanical problems, enemy action, time and weather to find and rescue the downed crew and the secret papers they were carrying.
