Film Synopsis:
Alfred Carlton Gilbert finds an erector set and tries to get it to the nations toy shelves. AIR CONDITIONING. surprised to be summoned to the White House, where top officials asked him to convert a toy factory into a weapons manufacturing company for the duration of the war. “No” really wasnt an option, for fear of being labeled unpatriotic so the switch was made. Later, government officials asked A.C. to become their spokesperson for a campaign to avoid "toy giving" for the upcoming holiday and buy war bonds instead.
