Movie: The Old Maid (1972)
Film Synopsis:
Muriel is a shy woman who bluffs and explodes around to hide her shyness and protect her loneliness, even though she longs for some kind of company. She had been lonely for so long that now she was an old servant and had never been courted. In this tender French film, Muriel sees romance when Gabriel walks into the seaside hotel where she is vacationing. His car had broken down, and he had to stay there for a few days while it was repaired. Hers was the only dining table with room in it, and Gabriel couldnt keep himself away from the charming woman.
