Film Synopsis:
After a great plague and amidst the ensuing witch hunt against women, a young widow grapples with the tragic death of her husband in a society completely consumed by fear and death. Because she resisted her landlords advances, she was falsely accused of being a witch and thrown in prison for a crime she did not commit. She must endure physical abuse at the hands of Englands cruelest witch hunter and confront her own inner demons as the devil itself begins to creep into her mind.
