Film Synopsis:
Fr. Hugh OFlaherty was a Vatican official in 1943-45 who had hidden downed pilots, escaped prisoners of war, and Italian resistance families. His diplomatic status in a Catholic country prevented Colonel Kappler from publicly arresting him, but OFlahertys activities became so great that the Nazis decided to kill him the next time he left the Vatican.
