Movie: The Umbrella Coup (1980)

Film Synopsis:
Gregoire Lecomte, a down-on-his-luck actor who wants to find a "real job", takes a screen test for the role of an assassin, but ends up in the Mafiosi by accident. He takes their Don for a producer, and they mistake him for a hitman with whom they have an appointment. The signs of the deceived Lecomte contracted with them. He supposedly killed arms dealer Otto Krampe at his birthday party in Saint-Tropez by stabbing him with an umbrella cover with a built-in syringe with potassium cyanide.
