Movie: The Way Back (2010)

Film Synopsis:
Based on the Depression-era memoir Bildungsroman from author A. E. Hotchner, this film follows the story of a boy who struggles to survive on his own in a hotel in St. Louis. Louis after his mother was committed to a sanatorium with tuberculosis. His father, a German immigrant and traveling salesman working for the Hamilton Watch Company, went on a long journey from which the boy could not be sure he would return.
