Film Synopsis:
This is the story of four French friends: The Greek (osteopath), Fifi (who lives with her mother), Fortune (a West Indian) and Freddy (a gambler). They met regularly at the Paris bookmakers, their favorite haunts. Tired of wasting what little spare money they had, they agreed to stop gambling. But no sooner have they taken this promise than fate intervenes, in the guise of the Turf King, Monsieur Paul.
