Film Synopsis:
25-year-old Philosopher Major Marta confronts an ugly truth for many young Italians-the lack of career opportunities. While raising single mother Sonia, she starts working in the call center of a company that sells junk to housewives, quickly rising through its ranks and experiencing firsthand the fanatical and exploitative culture of competition that drives employees. Around her revolve other people, such as delusional supervisor Daniela, her boss Claudio, flaky co-worker Lucio, and a well-meaning but inconsistent union representative.
