Movie: When Pigs Have Wings (2011)
Film Synopsis:
After a storm, fishermen find more than just fish in their nets. Thats what happened to Jafaar, a poor fisherman who lived badly in Gaza. And what he spat out was truly annoying: imagine that, a pig! An unclean animal is considered impure not only by the Islamic faith but also by the Jewish religion. Determined to get rid of the animal, Jafaar tries desperately to sell it, first to a UN official, then to a Jewish colony where Yelena keeps pigs not for their meat but for safety reasons. Of course, unknown in the company of "forbidden" animals, among his Palestinian brethren, a past in the Israeli army and under the tutelage of Islamic fundamentalists is not a bed of roses and a series of misunderstandings await Jafaar.
