Film Synopsis:
A dramatization, in modern theater style, of the life and thought of the Cambridge-born, Viennese-educated philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, whose main interest was the nature and limits of language. A series of sketches depicting the unfolding of his life from childhood, through the era of the First World War, with Cambridge professorships and associations with Bertrand Russell and John Maynard Keynes. The emphasis in this sketch is on exposition of the ideas of Wittgenstein, a homosexual, and intuitive, moody, proud, and perfectionist thinker generally considered a genius.
