Film Synopsis:
In 25 AD, Yehuda Ben-Hur, a Jew in ancient Judea, opposed the occupying Roman Empire. Falsely accused by a Roman childhood friend turned overlord of attempting to assassinate the Roman governor, he was put into slavery and his mother and sister taken as prisoners. Three years later and freed by a Roman galley commander who had been saved from drowning, he becomes a chariot expert for Rome, while plotting to return to Judea, find and save his family, and take revenge on his former friends.
