Film Synopsis:
Archie Lee Meighan is a failed cotton gin owner who marries Baby Doll, a 19-year-old childlike beauty whose father arranges the marriage for financial reasons. As Archie awaits the arrival of Baby Dolls 20th birthday, the day they were supposed to consummate their marriage, he encounters interference from business rival Silva Vacarro, who plans to seduce the baby doll from Meighan.
