Film Synopsis:
In the 18th century, Louis de Bourguignon works with Malichots gang, but their ways are too unethical for him. He created his own band, acted under the name Cartouche, made robberies of the rich, and even distributed takes with the poor. Thus, Cartouche attracts the sympathy of the people, the love of Venus, and the hatred of the police and Malichot... Cartouche is able to escape from all the traps they set for him - except the trap of love. Eventually, he will be saved by a woman, at her own expense.
