Movie: Diary of a Country Priest (1951)

Film Synopsis:
An inexperienced and sickly priest appears in the rural French community of Ambricourt, where he joins the community clergy. But the locals did not take kindly to the priest, and his ascetic ways and unfriendly attitude made him an outcast. During a Bible study at a nearby girls school, she was continuously teased by her students. Then his attempt to intervene in a family dispute became a scandal.
