Movie: Fango bollente (1975)
Film Synopsis:
During the day, Ovidio (Joe Dallesandro) and his two friends work in a data center. After work, they blow off steam by committing random acts of savage violence, quickly graduating from inciting riots at football games to vehicle theft, rape, and murder. The police believe a recent spate of crimes are politically motivated, but world-weary veteran Santaga (Enrico Maria Salerno) suspects a much scarier explanation: that these young men are motivated by nothing more than boredom and dissatisfaction with civilized society. As Ovidios behavior escalates, a psychological game of cat-and-mouse ensues between the two adversaries, building towards a surprising final confrontation.
